The first snow in Colorado is always an exciting time. It was a cold dark morning as I hiked into my initial location.  After the sun started to rise I noticed this perfect patch of blaze orange aspens glowing. I quickly packed up my gear, and hiked to where I could compose the Maroon Bells framed by these orange Aspens and a clear blue Colorado Sky. Iconic Colorado, and one of the many reasons why I live here.
