About the Lumachrome Prints

Q: What is a Lumachrome?
A:  Lumachrome is exquisite process of face mounting the print to optically clear acrylic.  Lumachromes can be found hanging in the finest galleries worldwide. More info here The Print Process

Q: How long does it take to get my Lumachrome Print?
A: Each Lumachrome print is a custom order. Please allow 3-5 weeks to receive your order.

Q: Does a Lumachrome need to be framed?
A: No, Lumachromes are a finished piece of art that can be hanged directly on your wall, mounting hardware included.

Q: Can you frame a Lumachrome?
A: Yes, if desired your Lumachrome can be framed by a professional frame shop.

Q: Can I get a refund if i am unhappy with my Lumachrome print
A: Yes, please see our refund Policy.  

Q: Can I purchase a print larger than the sizes you offer?
A: Yes, please email info@matherfineart.com for more information.

Q: Do you sell loose prints?
A: No, Mather Fine Art only sells finished Lumachrome Prints.

Q: Are the Lumachrome Prints Signed?
A: Yes a custom digital signature is displayed in the bottom left corner of each print.

Q: Do the prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity?
A: Yes, each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and are also protected with matching hologram serial numbers. Ensuring that you receive an original Mather Fine Art Print.

About the Prices and Edition Numbers

Q: Do the prices of the prints change as the edition sells?
A: No, we set the print prices for the year in January. 

Q: Why are your prints exclusive?
A: You can only get a Mather Fine Art Limited Edition Print from www.matherfineart.com.  These images are selected Exclusively for Limited Edition Prints, and are not offered in any other medium, such as art cards, posters, or bill board ads.

Q: What is a limited edition?
A: A limited edition means there are only a limited amount of prints made. For example if a print is an edition of 100, that means 100 total prints will be printed.

Q: What size are your Editions?
A: Mather Fine Art edition sizes are 25, 50, or 100

Q: Do you auction off any Prints?
A: Yes the final print of each edition is auctioned off with the starting bid set to the original purchase price. For example if a print is an edition of 25.  After 24 prints have been sold, the 25th print is actioned off with the starting bid set to the original purchase price. 

Q: Can I buy the rights to use one of the prints in an ad for my company?
A: No, the prints are exclusively produced for limited edition print.  If you are in need of high end stock photography please email info@matherfineart.com
